Mitsubishi 3000GT GTO Pop-Up Headlight Trim (OEM MB622690)
This replacement part is designed for 3000GT owners dealing with 30-year-old brittle plastic or trims snapped by improper handling during disassembly. The original OEM part (MB622690) is discontinued, and very few sellers are willing to part out the trim alone without the entire headlight assembly.
The model includes an intentional stepped sacrificial structure at the base to ensure printing success. When using high-temperature materials like ASA, ABS, or PC, thin-walled parts are highly prone to warping and layer shifts due to cooling shrinkage. This extra foundation maintains the part's integrity during the process. After printing, you must manually cut away the extra stepped material as indicated in the images before installation. Increasing the wall loop count is recommended to provide better structural strength when trimming.
After surface treatment:
Requires a printer with a build volume larger than 330mm for one-piece printing. This model has been optimized through multiple iterations, and changing any settings may lead to failure unless you are an experienced user.
