Gridfinity Countersink Bit Organizer

Because countersink bits have a wider diameter than standard drill bits, they often don’t fit well in traditional organizers. This Gridfinity-compatible bin is specifically engineered to accommodate the flared geometry of countersink sets, keeping them upright, protected, and ready for your next woodworking project.

Design specifically to fit the Dewalt DW2535 Countersink Set, 3 Pieces.

I took inspiration from this model: Milwaukee Countersink Drill Bit Holder - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld, but I needed more flexibility in terms of where on the bit the countersink sits. So, I designed an extended the slot so that I don't have to move the countersink when I put it back. Also holds the allen wrench so that I don't have to hunt for the right size. 

✨ Key Features

• Tailored Geometry: Specially spaced slots ensure that the wider heads of countersink bits don't overlap, making them easy to identify and grab.
  • #6 (mine broke so I can't go look at the size engraved on the shaft)
  • #8 (11/64")
  • #10 (3/8")
• Easy Extraction: I designed a recess at the shaft side, so you can just push down on the end of the shaft and it pops the tip up for easy grabbing. 
• Gridfinity Integration: Fits any standard 42mm Gridfinity baseplate system.
• No AMS Required: Designed with deep, embossed size labels for maximum legibility on single-material prints. (For a high-contrast look, simply dab the top of the letters with a paint pen or permanent marker!)
  • I don't have an AMS, so I added a pause to the print profile that is 3 layers from the top. Then I switch the filament to red (for imperial dimensioned bits) or blue (for metric dimensioned bits).

• Dimensions: Occupies a 2x3 Gridfinity footprint (84mm x 126mm).
• Height: 15mm low-profile height for drawer clearance.
• Compatibility: Fits most standard 1/4" hex-shank or round-shank countersink sets.

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

• Layer Height: 0.2mm (standard) or 0.16mm (for maximum label clarity).
• Walls: 3 walls for extra strength.
• Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid recommended for structural integrity).
• Material: PLA, PETG, or Tough PLA.
• Supports: None. This model is 100% 3D-printing friendly.
