Spherical O-Wind Parametric Model Wind Turbine
Print Profile(1)

Description
If you like it… give me a Boost
This project represents a spherical wind turbine designed to harness air flows from any direction. The model was developed entirely in OpenSCAD and is fully parametric, allowing total customization of dimensions and proportions.
🔧 Model structure
The turbine consists of 3 separate parts, designed to:
- facilitate 3D printing
- improve surface quality
- allow modular assembly
⚙️ Main features
- Design optimized for dynamic efficiency in multi-directional winds
- Spherical geometry inspired by O-Wind turbines
- Parameters directly modifiable from OpenSCAD code
- Ideal for prototyping, aerodynamic study, and experimentation
🛠️ Customization
Thanks to the parametric structure, it is possible to:
- easily scale the model
- modify the number and shape of openings
- adapt tolerances and thicknesses based on the printer
🧪 Applications
- Wind energy demonstration models
- STEM educational projects
- Design and aerodynamic optimization tests
- Dynamic decorative objects
⚠️ Print notes
- Any supports depend on the chosen orientation
If you make a print, share the result: every feedback is useful to improve the design! 🚀
