Description

This is a simple rig for the use with xTools Lasers for the tiny dog tags directly from xTool. You can find the material which fits here: https://www.xtool.com/products/stainless-steel-rounded-rectangle-pendant-10pcs?_pos=2&_psq=stainless+steel+rounded&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Maybe the rig will fit third-party “dog tag pendants” with a length of about 2.44cm / 0.96 inch, a width of about 1.35 cm / 0.53 inch and a height of about 1.8 mm / 0.07 inch as well. But it is designed for the xTool material.

I chose to make a rig for 6 pendants as this fitted my purpose. The pendants fit perfectly, not too loose but also not too tight so that they stay in place and can be taken out easily. The rig has a indicator for the 4 inch mark on the honeycomb plate to make it easy to place the rig always at the same place. This allows you to save a template in xTool Studio or xTool Creative Suite and reuse this template without readjusting the placement every time.

You find attached the SVG (as a zip) for the use in any laser cutting software. I refrain from sharing my XCS file for xTool Studio as I'm using a xTool S1 and the template might not fit for any xTool laser, requiring initial placement of the SVG on the workspace anyways.

I hope you find this useful and it helps you to make nice tags for your dog, cat or just as an jewelry. If you have any problems or questions, please leave a comment and I'll try to figure it out for you as soon as I can.

You can use the rig for commercial purposes but I would kindly ask you to boost this model if you are doing so. In any other case, I'll be happy if you would like to boost this model. :-)
