portable chessboard with and without AMS with chess pieces

I created two board designs with a chessboard on top; one is for AMS, with the squares colored directly, allowing for full customization. For those without AMS, like me, I also provided a blank chessboard to be hand-painted after printing

For the chess pieces, I recommend enabling supports, which will only be effective for the knight

Pay attention to the chessboard's interlocking parts and the material used

but in the worst case, a light sanding will be sufficient

Lastly, and most importantly, I added a pause on both chessboard designs

to allow you to insert magnets on the wider side at the ends

for a magnetic closure and, more importantly, to secure the chessboard during gameplay

I also tried printing the chessboard without supports, and it surprisingly turned out very well

I recommend using supports or not, depending on your printer's reliability

I recommend a brim on the pieces, though it's not always necessary
