Description
Keep your "Nifty Fifty" safe with this custom designed form-fit storage case. Unlike generic lens pouches, this hard shell is designed specifically for the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II, featuring internal profiles that cradle the lens body to prevent rattling and impact damage. Featuring a simple screw cap and engineered to accommodate the lens with both the front lens cap and rear dust cap attached, and keep it held securely in place, whilst maintaining spacing around the circumference for protection.
This is designed to fit the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II as pictured.
The container is a firm fit for the lens at the base (around the dust cap) to ensure that it does not move around, and after removing the lid you may need to slightly rock the lens to free it from the base. I would suggest doing a gentle test fit first, before fully tightening the lid in case there are any differences or manufacturing tolerances on the dust cap or overall length. You could always scale the model up slightly in Bambu Studio and add some soft foam or felt if you wanted to provide extra cushioning.
