Behir Bookmark – Hueforge

This Behir bookmark captures the coiling menace of one of fantasy’s most formidable lightning predators. The creature’s elongated, serpentine body twists vertically through the narrow format, its scaled torso looping downward in a sinuous S-curve that perfectly complements the tall bookmark proportions. At the top, the horned, reptilian head emerges from shadow, jaws slightly parted as though ready to unleash a crackling bolt of lightning.

Designed for high-contrast Hueforge layered filament printing, the composition uses deep black as a dramatic negative field, allowing the pale filament layers to sculpt the creature’s ridged scales, spined crest, and muscular contours. Each segment of the Behir’s body is defined by precise tonal separation, giving the illusion of depth and movement as light shifts across the layered print. The lightning-like streaks surrounding the form enhance the sense of raw elemental energy without overpowering the central subject.
