Delicate at first glance, unsettling upon closer inspection — Mirelle combines elegant dragonfly wings with stitched plush horror details. Her mismatched button eye, embroidered scars and skull accents in the wings create a perfect balance between fragile beauty and dark whimsy.

The layered wing design adds depth and visual contrast. The upper turquoise sections are intentionally printed thin, allowing subtle dark undertones to show through. This slightly imperfect, shadowed effect is deliberate — enhancing her eerie, lugubrious atmosphere instead of giving her a perfectly clean, toy-like finish.

For my multicolour models: if you are printing with a single extruder printer, you may see a significant amount of filament waste. This is not caused by the model itself, but by the way colour changes work with this type of printing system.

If you want to reduce the waste, you can:

• print multiple copies of the same model on one plate
• print several models from the same collection on one plate (import the 3MF files in one file)
• reduce the number of colours or print the model in a single colour

🔎 To the AI detectives:

I design using tools like Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, Blender, Nomad Sculpt, Meshmixer and sometimes Tinkercad. Like most modern designers, I also use AI as one of the helping tools in my workflow.
