Give a new twist to the Wind Spinner Design Contest with this Kinetic Aero-Spinner! While traditional spinners wait for the breeze, this design creates its own airflow. It combines the mesmerizing visual effects of a spiral spinner with the mechanical excitement of a high-performance flyer.

🛠️ Print & Assembly Details

I have optimized this model to be as user-friendly and accessible as possible:

• All-in-One Print: The entire kit fits on a single print bed, specifically designed to fit even the Bambu Lab A1 Mini!
• Smart Supports: While this model requires supports, I have pre-configured the 3MF file with optimized, "easy-to-remove" support settings. They provide a stable print but snap off cleanly afterward.
• Material: Works great in PLA (for maximum rigidity) or PETG (for extra durability).

🧩 Assembly Instructions

Putting your Aero-Spinner together is quick and easy:

1. Insert the Gear: Place the gear inside the main handle/holder.
2. Secure with Pin: Slide the bearing/pin through the handle and the gear to lock it in place.
3. Attach the Blade: Press the spinner blade onto the top of the gear shaft.

4. Ready to Fly: Slide the ripcord into the designated slot.

    

   Tip: For the best performance and maximum flight height, apply a small drop of lubricant (like PTFE oil, silicone grease, or even a bit of WD-40) to the bearing/pin and the contact points of the gear. Reducing friction here will make your spinner fly significantly faster and smoother!

1. Place the spinner on the launcher.
2. Insert the ripcord into the slot.
3. Pull firmly and watch the Helical Motion take flight!

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings:

• Profile: Use the provided .3mf file for the best results and pre-set supports.
• Walls: 3 Wall loops for extra strength in the ripcord and blades.
• Infill: 15-20% (Gyroid recommended).
• Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance between speed and quality.
