Description
Customized spool holder for 4 spools
The original file (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2299139-desktop-holder-for-4-filament-spools#profileId-2509232) was not bad in itself but far too unstable and the spools did not unroll properly
I cut the holder and the base plate apart at the base, scaled up the base plate slightly, and reassembled both
The base plate printed a bit messy at the corners due to the upscaling, but since it stands behind my printer and is not visible, that did not bother me further, and it now fulfills its intended function
Thanks to the enlarged base plate the holder is now much more stable
I rotated the four screw-on spool holders by 90° to remove unevenness caused by support and also rounded them off a bit more, as a result the spools run much more smoothly and unroll better
