Infinite HDD Silence Stack — Modular Anti-Vibration TPU System
Stop the vibration before it hits your case! This is a fully modular, interlocking stacking system designed to decouple 3.5" Hard Drives from your PC or Server environment.
Unlike traditional rigid cages, this system uses the mass of the drives and the damping properties of TPU to "eat" motor hum and head-click noise. Because it is modular, you aren't limited by a fixed cage size—you can stack 2 drives or 20!
How to Build Your Stack:
Each "Plate" in the files contains a left and right pair for one drive. Simply print the following:
- The BOTTOM Plate (Print 1x): Your foundation. These have a flat base for stability and "Male" studs pointing up. Use this for your 1st (bottom) drive.
- The MIDDLE Plate (Print per additional drive): The expanders. These have pockets on the bottom and studs on the top.
- Example: For a 5-drive stack, you print 3 of these plates.
- The TOP Plate (Print 1x): The finisher. These have pockets on the bottom but a smooth, flat top. Use this for your very last (top) drive.
Assembly & Tips
- Standard Screws: Uses standard 6-32 HDD mounting screws. The TPU acts like a natural lock-washer to keep them from vibrating loose.
- Cooling: The design provides a 14mm air gap between drives for excellent passive or active cooling.
