Description
Thanks for reaching out!
Here we have a rule not to use a single Ai image. This means every image you see in posts or descriptions are real photos.
Another rule is not to upload designs that are not tested by us first. So what you see is what you will print indeed.
Hope you like our work and maybe support us. Remember that you can support us for free just by like, follow, share and boost our work.

this reminds me my childhood.
I always wanted to design something like this since i got my printer.
So now its the time.
This is a modern take on the classic Rubik’s Snake (also known as a twist puzzle or fidget chain), redesigned with a lightweight, skeleton-style structure. Each segment is connected with built-in joints, allowing smooth articulation right off the printer—no assembly required.
The open-frame “skeleton” design reduces material usage while keeping the model strong and visually distinctive. It also makes the motion of the joints more visible, giving it a mechanical, almost kinetic look as you twist and reshape it.
This model prints fully assembled in place. Once printed, the segments can rotate to form a wide range of shapes—straight lines, curves, loops, and geometric patterns—making it both a satisfying fidget toy and a creative puzzle.
about the model:
- Print-in-place design (no assembly required)
- the design is so smart that no supports are needed at all!
- Lightweight skeleton structure
- Fully articulated segments for smooth movement
- Great as a fidget toy, desk gadget, or puzzle
designed this in fusion

Perfect for anyone who enjoys tactile toys, geometric transformations, or simply a satisfying print that works straight off the bed.
About the profiles:
- there are 3 profiles. a test profile, the 48 segments profile and the 24 segments profile.
- print the test profile at first if you feel uncomfortable with your tunings regarding the filament and the machine.
- profiles use the standard 0.2 profile with slow first layer
- the 24 segments profile uses ams but you can print it in single color or use pause commands in the slicer to swap colors.
- to print this in single color from handy app just select all the colors to be the same.
- the 48 segments profile is uploaded in single color though.
- if you need a profile with pause commands please feel free to ask.
- 0.2 layer height.
Before use:
- apply some force to unstack the segments if they are stacked.
rotate the loosen segments so to be sure that they can rotate. if needed use some Allen key tool for the job.

- the movements at first may be little hard but the connections will lose during play.

Challenge idea!
there are many you tube tutorials regarding how to solve several puzzles with this fidget.
recommend at first do the ball and get familiar with it.
try it some times and then try without the tutorial.
then try to beat your times.
added them in my toys and games collection
🙏 Please don't leave negative feedback if you don't doublecheck that you used your own well working filament profiles and be very sure that you build plate is well cleaned!
The designs we upload are well tested so you don't have to worry about them. we never upload a design without fully tested them first!
