Garden Cloche - Plant Protector with Magnetic Lid

My third-generation garden cloche, redesigned from the ground up to print faster, assemble easier, and fit perfectly into a square foot garden layout. If you've battled mice, rabbits, deer, slugs, squirrels, or neighborhood cats eyeing your seedlings, this is for you. These cloches give tender plants the protection they need to get established then get out of the way when the plant is ready. 

WHAT'S NEW IN V3

• Magnetic lid - just lift off to water, tend, or harvest. No twisting, no threads to strip, no fiddling in muddy gloves. 
• 6" × 6" base - snaps directly into a square foot garden grid, four cloches per square foot. 
• Optimized for print efficiency - faster prints, less filament, cleaner results straight off the bed.
• Open top with lid removed - let plants grow through while the cage keeps protecting the stem and lower leaves all season. 

HOW TO USE

1. Print the cage and lid. The profile will pause at the layer where you insert the magnets. Press the magnets into the recessed pockets. The magnets should be inserted so that they don't repel each other when assembled.  
2. Place over your seedling right after planting. 
3. Pop the lid off to water, check progress, or harvest. 
4. Once the plant is hardy, either remove the cloche entirely or pull the lid and let it grow up through the top. The cage keeps protecting the base all season.

PRINT NOTES 

• PETG strongly recommended for UV and weather durability. 
• PLA works for a season but will get brittle in summer sun. 
• Magnets: D4x2 mm round magnets common in the Bambu / CyberBrick
• No supports needed.
• Designed for easy, efficient printing minimal material, maximum coverage. 

V1 (unscrewable top) and V2 are still available if you prefer those designs — but V3 is where it's at.
