After printing this orbital ball, I stared at it for almost an hour 😳

Its shape is an infinity symbol (∞), but not a regular figure-eight. I designed tracks on it and added small balls.
The small balls roll along the track circle after circle, rolling back to the center, truly giving an endless feeling.

I was a little excited the first time I started it, watching the ball complete a full circuit on its own, it was strangely therapeutic.
When friends came over and saw it, they sat beside it and watched for ten minutes without moving, saying, “This is too stress-relieving.”

When printing, pay a little attention to the track part; the surface needs to be smoother, otherwise the ball will get stuck.
I polished it to make it smooth, and now it rolls without any resistance.

The whole thing prints quite sturdy, no glue needed, just assemble and play.
Put it on the table as a fidget toy; when you're tired, just watch the ball roll a couple of times, and worries seem to roll away with it 🌀

The joy of 3D printing is probably being able to create whatever strange and interesting things you want yourself ✌️
