Description

This is a modular window insert system designed to improve airflow, cooling, and ventilation using either a 120mm fan or a portable AC exhaust hose.

Instead of using cardboard or temporary solutions, this system provides a clean, reusable, and customizable setup for sliding windows.

🟦 Bottom Piece

  • Available in:
    • Solid version
    • Version with 20mm hole
  • Hole fits:
    • 5/8" OD drain hose (condensation drain)

🟦 Middle Pieces

  • Stackable extension sections
  • Print as many as needed to match your window height

🟦 Top Pieces (3 Sizes)

  • 6 inch
  • 7 inch
  • 8.3 inch

Allows fine-tuning total height for a snug fit

⚙️ Assembly

  1. Print bottom piece (with or without drain hole)
  2. Stack middle sections to desired height
  3. Add appropriate top piece for final fit
  4. Insert either:
    • Fan module or
    • AC hose adapter
  5. Install into window frame

🧵 Print Settings (Recommended)

  • Material: PLA / PETG
    (PETG recommended for heat resistance near AC exhaust)
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 3–4
  • Infill: 10–20%
  • Supports: Not required (for most parts)
  • Brim: Optional for tall prints

⚠️ Notes

  • Measure your window before printing
  • Slight scaling may be needed depending on window track width
  • For best seal, consider:
    • Foam tape
    • Weather stripping
