Hello everyone! This is my first 3D design, and I'm excited to share it with the community. It's a Funko Pop-style figure of Piplup.
As I'm just getting into the world of modeling and learning to cut models, I decided to design this figure in multiple parts. This facilitates printing in individual colors without the need for a multi-material system, and makes the post-processing much simpler.
As this is my first cutting project, any constructive comment, suggestion, or feedback will be very welcome for further improvement.
Model Details:
- Format: Multi-part (requires assembly and glue, such as cyanoacrylate).
- Tolerances: The parts were cut to fit, but depending on your printer's calibration, you might need light sanding on the joints.
Printing Recommendations:
- Slicer: Compatible and tested with Bambu Studio / Orca Slicer.
- Layer Height: 0.20 mm.
- Infill: 5% - 10% Gyroid.
- Supports: Yes. I recommend using Tree/Organic supports only on the parts that require them (such as the chin or arms) to facilitate their removal without marking the piece. (Currently, I used normal supports, and the profile is in the .3mf file)
- Brim: Recommended for smaller or taller parts to ensure bed adhesion.
I hope you enjoy printing it as much as I enjoyed creating it for Palis 3D! If you print it, don't hesitate to share your photos and print profiles; I'd love to see your results.
