Description

Boost Me (for free)

If this model saved you a trip to the store or sparked a new idea, a boost means the world! It keeps me designing more free parametric models for the community. Every boost helps others discover it too.
Thank you for printing and creating!

One Model. Infinite Pots.

Design exactly the pot, cup, vase, bowl, or holder you need - no CAD skills required. Just move the sliders, hit Generate, and download your custom 3D-printable creation.

Plant pot for your desk succulent? Done. Tall pencil holder? Done. Wide fruit bowl with horizontal rings? Done. Kitchen utensil holder with diagonal twist? Done. Every shape prints without supports.

How It Works

Open the Parametric Editor (click Customize) and start experimenting. Every slider updates the preview in real time.

Step 1: Pick a Style

Choose your decorative pattern from the dropdown:

Smooth - Clean, modern, no texture

Vertical Lines - Classic ribbed look

Diagonal Lines - Twisted ribs that spiral around the pot

Curved Lines - Wavy S-shaped ribs

Horizontal Rings - Stacked rounded rings (great for short, wide pots)

Step 2: Shape Your Pot

Three diameters control the profile:

Top Diameter - The opening

Middle Diameter - Creates the curve. Set it wider than top/bottom for a belly, narrower for a waist.

Bottom Diameter - The base

Play with Middle Position to shift the curve up or down. Set it to 10% for a low belly, 90% for a top-heavy shape.

Height goes from 15mm (shallow bowl) up to 400mm (tall vase).

Step 3: Tune the Pattern

Each style has its own controls:

Line Width and Gap - From fine 1mm ribs to bold 40mm bands

Line Protrusion - How far the pattern sticks out from the wall

Diagonal Twist - How far the lines spiral (10 degrees subtle, 180 degrees dramatic)

Curve Waves and Amplitude - Number and intensity of the S-curves

Ring Radius and Gap - Size and spacing of horizontal rings

Merge Top / Merge Bottom - Smoothly blend the ribs into the wall at the rim or base for a polished finish

Step 4: Add a Water Tray (Optional)

Enable the Water Tray toggle and a removable drip tray prints on a separate plate (Plate 2). The pot automatically gets drainage holes and a groove where the tray rim clicks in. Perfect for real plants.

Print Tips

No supports needed - The model auto-adjusts the profile to stay within safe overhang angles

Any material works - PLA, PETG, ABS, silk PLA for a premium look

Wall thickness - Default 3mm is solid. 2.5mm for lightweight, up to 8mm for heavy-duty

Resolution - Lower to 96 for faster preview while designing, keep default 193 for final export

Vase mode - Works great with the Smooth style for single-wall prints (disable tray)

Water tray - Prints on a separate plate automatically, no manual splitting needed

What Will You Make?

This is not just a plant pot - it is a cup, vase, bowl, holder, planter, or whatever you need. The parametric editor handles the engineering (overhang limits, drainage, auto-tiling patterns) so you can focus on the design.

Share your creations in the comments - I would love to see what you come up with!
