A contemporary reinterpretation of the classic “Three Wise Monkeys,” expanded by a fourth figure representing modern digital behavior.

Traditionally symbolizing “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,” this piece introduces a fourth state: digital isolation. The additional figure, absorbed in a smartphone, reflects a shift in awareness shaped by constant connectivity and selective attention.

The composition remains minimal and deliberate, maintaining a calm visual balance while subtly challenging the original meaning. It preserves the iconic symbolism but reframes it within a modern cultural context.

Print Note (Bambu Lab A1 Mini):
The model is designed at approximately 180 mm length. For printing on the A1 Mini, it needs to be slightly scaled down in the slicer (≈ 95–97%) to fit within the build volume.
 

The model is fully scalable in Bambu Studio, enabling proportional resizing without loss of detail.
The initial version was printed at a 0.28 mm layer height. Further optimized profiles with finer layer resolutions will be released.
