I test printed the width and length of a few other models but they left a lot of play and unused gridspace.
I wanted to squeeze every last millimeter out of my 42" US General Toolbox Series 3 so this grid base has no play and perfectly fits the top two drawers of a Harbor Freight cab purchased in 2025.
Other drawers coming in a month or two. There is one half-row - you can choose to put that row along the front or the back. If you don't have a half row, you end up with a thick unused border.
Bambu doesn't let me upload empty plates like the one nice picture had them set up so you will have to look at that image for reference they may have gotten out of order when they removed the empty plates.
I used the GRIPS Base Builder and maxed the dimensions of my tool box. I start all of my custom boxes in my Gridfinity Obsession Collection with a box from GridfinityGenerator.com with everything at 6 height and 1.5mm walls.
To make half size boxes for the half row, set the grid size to 21mm. Example: A 10x3 box at 21mm is really a 5x1.5 Gridfinity.
