Frame lifter for Apidea-style mini mating nuc frames. This frame lifter makes it easy to extract and insert frames into the mini nuc. I always encountered the problem that a commercial frame lifter was not useful to me because it is too large, and handling the frames was complicated because I wear gloves, making it difficult to easily insert and remove the frame. With this miniature frame lifter, I only have to loosen the frame with a lever (I use a small knife) to free it from wax and/or propolis that stick it to the mini mating nuc. Afterwards, handling is completely comfortable

As additional materials for printing, I use:

  • A small 40 mm elastic band folded in half (to exert more pressure) which makes its opening automatic and therefore more comfortable to handle
  • Seven M3x10 screws
  • Two 4mm (inner) x 9mm (outer) washers
  • One M3 nut

Additionally, a small drop of instant glue or threadlocker can be used in the handle recesses, only where the screw thread enters. Above all, this precaution must be taken on the axle, as it must allow the rotation and movement of the levers

I hope it is as useful to you as it is to me
