Custom Sanding Heads for Dspiae ES-A PRO
The Dspiae ES-A (and PRO) is a fantastic tool, but it lacks a sufficient number of sanding heads in the basic kit. When you're in the middle of a serious project, constantly peeling and swapping sandpaper strips of different grits is a major workflow killer.
I decided to solve this problem.
I have designed, printed, and thoroughly tested these custom heads. They are specifically optimized for use with the original adhesive sandpaper strips. This project allows you to have multiple heads of the same shape ready to go, each with a different grit, for a much smoother experience.
Key Features:
Easy Identification: Each head features embossed markings for standard grits offered by the manufacturer (from 180 to 1200).
Durability: The heads are engineered to be strong enough to withstand the pressure applied during the sanding process.
Optimized Workflow: No more stopping to change paper—just swap the entire head and keep working.
Interchangeable Sanding Head Kit:
- Quantity: 9 marked sanding heads.
- Grit Sizes: 120, 280, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 + 1 blank head.
- Storage: 4x3 Gridfinity-compatible bin for heads, 4x3 for spare paper sheets, 6x3 for original Dspiae Box.
- Security: Integrated studs provide a high-friction fit to prevent heads from falling out.
Important Notes:
Compatibility: Please note that these heads are not compatible with the original Dspiae tool case (there simply isn't enough room inside for extra heads anyway).
Printing Recommendations: I highly recommend printing each shape in a different color of PET-G. This makes it even easier to distinguish between shapes at a glance while ensuring the necessary material strength.
