Description

The Independance class is the more remakable class of the US Navys controversal “Littoral Combat Ships” - LCS.

Its fast, stealthy and well… an aluminum boat. Aluminum on a warship? Great idea, Right?... Right?…

This model is intended as a display / scale model.

You can choose if you want to have the full hull model or only a water line model for a diorama.

The underwater ship is printed seperately in order to accieve this.

Boost Me (for free)

Hey all,
I would really appreciate if you boost my model(s).
It really motivates me to make more models.
I´ve got some vessels still in line to come :)

Printing recommendations

Use max. 0.16 mm layer height on a 0.4 mm nozzle or smaller.

Support is required for most superstructure parts.
Label and base plate can be printed without support.

Label is not colored yet. You can either color it yourself or use the label of my smaller Burke.

Socket and base plate may be printed at a higher layer height, for example 0.24 mm.

Hull parts may be too large for smaller printers.

Assembly

Assembly needs to be done with glue – think of it as a classic model kit 🙂

Please take a look at the pictures to see the correct positions of each part.
