Description

This model looks great… and it actually prints properly.

*** PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION INCLUDING PRINTING NOTES BEFORE PRINTING. EXTRA INFORMATION ADDED ABOUT USING A DIFFERENT SUPPORT MATERIAL ***

I printed in using SUNLU PLA+ Silk Grey - which had to be dried as it looked closes to Xenonite

After trying multiple profiles on MakerWorld, I kept running into:

- Failed prints
- Messy support scars
- Supports trapped inside the model

So I spent hours testing different orientations and support setups to fix it.

What’s different about this profile

This isn’t just a re-upload — it’s an optimised print profile designed for:

- Reliable printing (even on a bed slinger)
- Clean support removal
- No supports inside the model
- Minimal visible blemishes
- Balanced print time vs quality

What I tested

I ran multiple iterations adjusting:
- Print orientation
- Support placement
- Support density and type

Although I also have a CoreXY printer, I specifically tested and tuned this on a Bambu A1 (bed slinger) to ensure it prints reliably on that setup.

The goal was simple:
Make this print cleanly, every time.

⚙️ Support strategy (key difference)

- Manual supports used throughout
- No internal supports
- Only placed where absolutely needed
- Designed for easy removal with minimal marks

Important (read before printing)

Supports remove cleanly overall, but:

Take extra care on the leg touching the build plate.

This is the most fragile point, and it’s easy to snap if you rush support removal.

Print the provided profile for best results

The supports are dialed in to find a balance between support and removal.

It is unlikely to work if you use a different material for supports or support interface.

Print notes

- Designed for reliability first
- Clean finish straight off the printer
- No complicated post-processing required

Why use this profile?

There are lots of versions of this model.

This one is for when you want:
A clean result without the frustration.

If it works well for you

- Drop a like or boost
- Share your print — I’d love to see how it turned out
