That Moment | From Disorder to Order

There's always that moment—
Quiet, brief, yet it decides everything.
Chaos begins to take shape.

As a digital designer, I've always lived in a world of “ideas.”
And this time, I finally have the opportunity to turn an idea into a tangible existence.
Many thanks to Bambu Lab for this opportunity. This work comes from a very personal memory.

My father is a Chinese azalea bonsai master.
When I was a child, I often watched him work in the dimly lit flower room.
He was engrossed, focused, and quiet. In that environment, he seemed to glow.

This scene has always stayed in my heart.

This piece is my recreation of that moment, and a form of “legacy” that belongs to me.

In my opinion, bonsai is not just about styling; it's also about balance—the balance between nature and human intervention, between growth and control.

Therefore, I divide bonsai into two states: one half is the disorder of wild growth, and the other half is the geometric order that follows rules.

And in the middle—that's “that moment.” When the scissors fall, disorder is transformed into order.

But more importantly, it's also the moment we organize ourselves—establishing inner order amidst life's chaos.

I hope everyone likes my work, and I very much look forward to seeing everyone's physical prints and different color schemes to make it “come alive.”
