Description
This 3D model is a two-part protective enclosure designed specifically for the Sonoff SNZB-02WD thermometer/hygrometer.
It allows you to mount the sensor outside a window while keeping it protected from environmental factors that can distort readings.
The enclosure acts as a passive radiation shield, helping to ensure more accurate temperature measurements by reducing exposure to direct sunlight and allowing proper airflow.

Construction
The model consists of two separate parts:
1. Main Holder
- Houses the thermometer securely
- Attaches directly to the window (outside)
- Includes airflow channels for accurate readings
2. Protective Cover
- Slides or mounts over the main holder
- Shields from precipitation and sunlight
- Enhances durability and sensor lifespan
Installation
- Insert the Sonoff sensor into the main holder
- Attach the holder to the outside of the window using strong double-sided tape
- Install the protective cover
Tip: Mount in a shaded area if possible for best accuracy.
Printing Recommendations
- Material: PETG or ABS (recommended for outdoor use)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 15–25%
- Supports: For protective cover only
- Walls: 2–3 perimeters
