Description
Hanging bird feeder – ball design
Practical and lightweight feeder, ideal for feeding garden birds.
Its rounded shape allows easy access while limiting direct exposure to bad weather.
The perforated bottom prevents water accumulation and helps keep seeds in good condition.
🛠️ Manufacturing
3D Printed part in two parts :
- a first tray with the bottom plate + the inner ball (to glue)
a second tray with the outer structure
Assembly is simple and allows for a solid and clean unit.
⚠️ Material
Model presented in PLA.
For outdoor use, it is recommended to use PETG or ASA, which are more resistant to moisture and UV rays.
