Themis – Goddess of Blindfolded Justice
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
Themis is not a simple allegory: she is the very origin of order.
In Greek mythology, she is the Titaness of divine law, she who precedes men, gods, and even the very concept of human justice.
She does not judge: she establishes what is right. This sculpture represents her at the most iconic, and at the same time, most misunderstood moment in her history: the blindfold.

It is not blindness, but absolute impartiality.
She does not look at who you are, but what you are.
The composition is structured to convey balance and visual authority.
The face is calm, detached, devoid of emotional tension:
there is no anger, no compassion, only law.
The slight rotation of the head breaks the static nature and makes the figure active in space, present, vigilant, dominant without needing excess.
The scales are integrated directly into the bust's structure, not as an ornament but as a physical symbol of the moral weight of actions.
The sword, visible on the back, introduces the second dimension of justice:
not just evaluating, but deciding.
The volumes are compact, continuous, readable from every angle.
Every detail is calibrated to emerge with light, without dispersion:
here nothing is decorative, everything is functional.
It is not a decorative statue. It is a symbol.

⚠️ Tips for Optimal Printing
To achieve the best result and avoid common FDM printing issues:
- Ensure the build plate is perfectly clean to prevent parts or supports from detaching.
- Set correct temperatures for filament and build plate.
- Remove supports gently, preferably using pliers or appropriate tools. Pay particular attention to supports near the sword and scales, removing them with extreme care.
- Small artifacts on overhangs can be normal in FDM printing: a light sanding easily removes them.
- Perform good flow calibration and use well-dried filament to ensure clean surfaces and defined details.
Proper printer preparation is essential to bring out the best in the model.
