Description
Neutral Square Coaster 87.8x2mm
I printed various purchased coasters on my Eufymake E1 UV printer. Either these were intended for sublimation and the ink did not adhere optimally, or due to the material/color, I needed white top coats which led to high ink consumption.
During tests on matte white PLA, I noticed that the color came out excellently with just 1 layer and I could omit the primer.
For the size, I chose 87.8mm, as this is sufficient for glasses and with the narrow print bed, you can still afford some overspray. If needed, the diameter can also be scaled up.
I would definitely use white filament.
For positioning "large quantities", I created a precisely matching JIG for fixing 3 coasters:
