Candle Compatibility The cups are specifically sized to perfectly fit standard low-profile candles, 38-40mm (1.5inch).
To ensure the best print quality and stability, this model is designed with the following features:
- Two-Part Print: The candelabra is split into two separate parts to minimize complex overhangs and make printing much more manageable.
- Easy Connection: The top and bottom pieces are designed to connect easily and securely right off the build plate.
- Weighted Base Design: For structural safety and stability, the bottom section is designed to be printed with a heavier weight. By increasing the infill on the base, you lower the center of gravity, preventing the 20cm structure from tipping over once the candles are inserted.
Recommended Print Settings
- Material: PLA (Matte or Marble PLA looks excellent for this sculpt)
- Supports: Needed. Ensure your support settings are dialed in to catch the overhanging arms and the delicate wax drip details. Tree/organic supports are highly recommended.
- Infill (Top Part): 10% - 15% (Standard)
- Infill (Bottom Part): 40% (Print the base with a high infill percentage to give the model necessary weight and stability).
