Description

This is a .308 Cartridge tray designed to fit the Apache 1800 Weatherproof case sold at Harbor Freight.  It hold 174 rounds.

The grid is 11x16, so it should hold 176 rds, but 2 rounds won't comfortably fit where the little pressure/air valve is in the front, and I thought it best not to force them.

You might have to snip off one fin where the valve is.  The tolerances on this tray are pretty tight, and it's a tight squeeze to get it in, but it goes. If you edited the file and removed maybe 1mm or so all the way around, it would fit easier, but I wanted a snug fit and was willing to wrestle with it a bit.

I left the bottom layer of foam in the bottom, that comes with the case, and the lid foam. The three thicker pull-apart inserts that come with the case will need to be removed.

I think there are plans out there where you can print your own Apache 1800, but when you catch it on sale at HF, it's only $9 and probably about the same price as the filament you'd need to print one anyway (plus it comes with the foam).

I printed it on a Bambu P1S in PLA, and it came out great. I had some issues with 1st layer adhesion on the first attempt, but I've been having that some lately, so i'm not sure it's the file.  I re-started it with the plate temp cranked to 60 and the speed at 50% and it printed fine.  After a few layers printed, I cranked the speed back to 100% and it printed well.

The files section contains STL files for a solid version or the pictured version which has triangular holes throughout to save filament.  The 3MF version is the version with holes.
