Marking aid for flush-mounted boxes OSB & Drywall
Print Profile(1)

Description
During interior finishing with OSB panels and drywall, a problem often arises: After the cavity boxes have been installed and the cables laid, the positions behind the subsequently mounted drywall panel are no longer visible.
This marking aid for flush-mounted and cavity boxes offers a simple and reliable solution.
The insert is placed into an existing 68 mm hole and features a central marking spike. When pressing the drywall panel, an exact mark is created, which clearly defines the later drilling point. This ensures that the openings in OSB and drywall are precisely aligned.
The result: no misdrilling, no elaborate measuring, and maximum precision on the construction site.
🔧 Application
- Drill a 68 mm hole for the cavity box in the OSB panel.
- Lay cables and insert the box.
- Insert the marking aid into the opening.
- Press the drywall panel – the centering spike marks the position.
- Drill the hole for the box at the marking.
✅ Advantages
- Precise transfer of the drilling point
- Works without an additional drilling template
- Saves time and prevents misdrilling
- Simple and reliable application
- Ideal for drywall construction with OSB and drywall
📐 Compatibility
- Flush-mounted and cavity boxes according to DIN 49075
- Standard drillings with a 68 mm hole saw
- Suitable for OSB and drywall panels
