Description of Jesus' Potentia
This is a classic-style Baroque potentia, crafted with a highly ornamental design. At its center is a prominent circular medallion with the IHS monogram, surrounded by a symmetrical composition of leaves, scrolls, and volutes that mimic traditional goldsmithing. From the upper part emerge stylized rays, elongated and delicate, representing divine radiance. The lower part ends in a smooth stem, designed to be inserted or attached to the head of the image.
The piece combines fine detail, soft reliefs, and an aesthetic highly characteristic of processional imagery.
Assembly instructions after printing
Due to the amount of fine detail (thin rays, small volutes, ornamental edges), it is advisable to print the potentia in several separate pieces. After printing:
- Carefully glue them with cyanoacrylate or suitable adhesive for PLA/ABS.
- This prevents thinner areas from losing definition or deforming during printing.
