Description

If there is no way to apply your Woltu (or similar) honeycomb thermal blinds to your roof windows using clamps or some other mechanism, this model might help, assuming you're able and willing to screw into your window frame 🤓

The blinds usually come with a clamping mechanism which can also be repurposed using screws. Buuut one of several I ordered came without the necessary parts, so I had to get creative anyway. And so far, I'm pretty happy with the result.

Sure, orienting the part for strength and durability (see print profile) doesn't make it the most beautiful print you've ever seen. But I also didn't want to mess around with support. I wanted a simple, low profile solution that would print fast and do the trick, and I think the result is pretty decent.

The original profile uses a 0.6 nozzle (which I happened to have installed, change nozzle size as required) and PETG-CF. PLA might also work but I wanted to be safe since my windows are facing south-west and temperatures may rise to above 50 degrees celsius between the blinds and that glass.

This is my first published model (yay). Happy to be joining the community :) I'm always open to constructive criticism.
