The model has been successfully tested on Bambu Lab X1C and P1S
- Layer Height: 0.2mm (crucial for interlocking precision)
- Walls: 3 loops (Wall Loops) to ensure the V-grooves are strong
- Supports: ABSOLUTELY NONE The design is self-supporting
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid)
- Material: PLA Silk or Dual/Triple Color for a stunning visual effect (as shown in photos)
- Clearance: The default value is 0.35mm If your printer is very precise, you can go down to 0.3mm for a "tighter" movement

🛠️ Customization Guide: Optimize Your Infinity Fidget
To achieve the best results, especially if you want more space between the rings or a more solid interlock, follow this guide to OpenSCAD/MakerWorld parameters
1. Shape and Geometry
- shape_type: Choose between the classic Star or a Polygon with sharp edges
- points: The number of star points or polygon sides (e.g 5 for a star, 6 for a hexagon)
- star_ratio: Controls how "pointy" the star is
- Low (0.35): Very aggressive look with sharp points
- High (0.55): Softer look with blunted points
2. Spacing and Mechanics (The "True Secret")
If you want to see more "light" between the rings or if they tend to come apart, adjust these values
- ring_spacing: Controls the visible space
- Increase this value (e.g 1.5mm - 2.0mm) to clearly separate the rings and make the "waterfall" effect much more dramatic
- clearance: The 3D printing tolerance
- 0.20mm - 0.25mm: Precise and professional interlocking feel (recommended for Bambu Lab)
- 0.40mm+: Use this value only if the rings fuse together during printing
- v_depth: The Locking Mechanism
- If the rings come apart, increase this value (e.g 3.5mm or 4.0mm) This creates a deeper "diamond" track that physically prevents the pieces from separating
3. Structural Dimensions
- layers: Total number of rings More layers = larger fidget
- wall_thickness: The actual plastic wall thickness of the ring Keep it at 2.5mm or higher to ensure robustness, especially if using a high v_depth
- total_height: The height of the fidget on the build plate 8.0mm is the ideal value for most filaments
💡 Troubleshooting and Tips
