P2S AMS Filament Buffer Accelerator

Bill of Materials
Description
The biggest challenge for this project was the attachment, because most screw points are occupied by other mods, such as the Flipper. I tried to consider the important mods so that they remain.
Time savings through optimized buffer holder and shorter PTFE tubes
Filament loading times are greatly reduced; I did not record the times beforehand, but the value in Bambu Slicer is 26 s.
After this modification, the filament loading time is only 6 seconds.
The advantage is not only the reduced loading times; the stress and wear on the AMS are also reduced.
Main Features
The buffer holder can be folded back by loosening the hand knob.
The buffer is mounted so that the AMS connections can be connected from below, preventing the cables from protruding upwards.
Required Hardware Parts
- Cable extension 15-pin 40 cm length, I used two 20 cm ones.
- 3x M3x10 mm cylindrical screws with hexagon socket.
- 1x BT3x10 mm cylindrical screw with hexagon socket (coarse thread)
- 1x Heat shrink tubing 13 mm diameter
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a shop for the cables, as the cables were provided to me by a user.
Thanks to Pfoxi, who also encouraged me to start this project.
The cables can be purchased on Aliexpress, here is a link. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EQ8Yh3S
Printing
You can use my 3MF file; I have manually drawn the supports.
I recommend printing all parts with PETG.
Disassembly

Assembly
I have created assembly instructions with labeled pictures.
Follow the sequence and proceed carefully.
