Description

Wall Mount for Jet Motor

(Catia_5 Model: https://makerworld.com/it/@CATIAV5FTW)

Description
If you've spent hours printing and assembling the legendary Catia_5 jet motor, this is the accessory for you. It deserves a place of honor in your workshop or office—don't leave it on a dusty shelf!

I designed this wall mount to be sturdy, minimalist, and elegant, with the goal of making the motor appear almost "suspended" from the wall, while ensuring maximum structural safety.

Main Features
Perfect Compatibility: Custom-molded to fit perfectly with the original mounting points of the Catia_5 motor.

Guaranteed Stability: The geometry has been optimized to distribute weight evenly and prevent sagging over time.

Easy Installation: The support features reinforced holes for standard screws and anchors (5mm or 6mm recommended).

Recommended Printing Parameters
To ensure the part can support the weight of the motor without problems, I recommend following these settings:

Material: PETG (highly recommended for mechanical strength and durability) or PLA.

Wall Loops: At least 4-5 PETG or 6-8 with PLA. Increasing the walls is more effective than increasing the infill for structural strength.

Infill: 25-35% (use the Gyroid or Grid pattern for multidirectional strength).

Supports: as inserted in the model.

Layer Height: 0.20mm or 0.24mm for an excellent compromise between speed and strength.

IMPORTANTS NOTES:
This support is a related model created specifically to complement the original design.
