APC 1500W UPS SMT1500RMI2U Fan mod

I hooked up a 100Ah 24V battery to my SMT1500RMI2U and noticed that everything was cooled by a single fan at the back. While this is fine for a smaller battery (as APC intended with this device) its fine, but once you go up to that size of battery the heat starts to soak. 

So, i designed an fan holder that holds a 60x25mm fan that provides active cooling to the Inverter Power Stage inside the UPS. It comes in two flavors, either mounted using regular computer fan screws (keep in mind to use 6,4mm head size on the ones attaching the holder to the chassi) or M4 nuts and bolts (countersunk for attaching to the chassi)

I opted for Sunon 24V 60x25mm fans (MF60252VX1000UA99) but you can use any 24V fan as long as its max 25mm thick. Then spliced into the same fan wire going to the back fan, so they run in paralell.
