Hello Pokémon TCG Fans,
Our kids have recently become enthusiastic about the TCG game, and the coins included with a deck have been particularly well received.
Zygarde is a legendary Dragon Pokémon, and the new Zygarde Core Coin is included in the Trainer Box of the Optimal Order Set. However, I didn't want to buy the whole box for that.
Of course, you can buy the coin separately somewhere, but I enjoy playing around with Fusion 360 and creating something.
So I thought, I'll just redesign the coin and print it on my P1S.
I think I did a pretty good job. It actually took a few hours of work.
I wouldn't have expected that for a coin with a 5cm diameter and 3mm height.
However, it prints very quickly, in about 40 minutes.
I wanted it to look as authentic as possible, so I also embossed the back of the coin with the logo and the Pokeball.
For a flawless, smooth surface, I recommend smoothing the surface as preset in the print profile.
