Description

This 3D-printed equatorial wedge mount is designed for the Celestron NexStar 127SLT telescope. It tilts the telescope’s original alt-azimuth mount to match the observer’s latitude, effectively converting it into an equatorial tracking mount. By aligning the mount’s axis with Earth’s rotation, the telescope can track celestial objects using a single axis, reducing field rotation and improving long-exposure astrophotography. The wedge attaches between the tripod and mount base and includes adjustable tilt for accurate polar alignment. This model i made for Denmark or Seattle . For other places around the world, make sure to ask chatGPT or other ai to calculate the angle, and change it in a CAS program.

You will also need a bolt and nut, however its a specialized m6 bolt and nut with a long thread, i kinda just forced a normal m6 bolt and nut on (bad plan) :)
