Dr. Stone Science Shield – 3D Printed Prop
Print Profile(3)

Description
A 3D printed shield inspired by the anime Dr. Stone, specifically the Science Kingdom design. Created by a fan and translator of the series for other fans.
The shield is designed as a foldable construction consisting of 4 parts that fit together using wedge connectors. In total, there are 16 holes for inserting the wedges, which lock firmly into place.
The joints are intentionally tight to ensure a strong and stable build. It is recommended to press the wedges firmly, or carefully tap them in with a hammer if needed. Be cautious to avoid damaging the parts.
For extra strength, it is recommended to apply glue along the edges and also to the decorative front ornament.
On the back side, there are mounts for attaching a strap, allowing the shield to be worn on the arm.
The construction is very simple and does not require any plans or complicated instructions.
The model can be used both as a functional prop and as a decorative piece.
This is not an exact replica of the original anime shield, which primarily functions as back protection (also historically accurate).
This version is designed to also be usable as a handheld shield, while still allowing back mounting with a longer strap.
A larger version for back use and a possible knife-holding variant may be added in the future.
Dimensions:
- shield diameter: approx. 225 mm
- total shield thickness: approx. 15 mm
- strap slot width: approx. 40 mm

Features:
- split into 4 parts
- 16 holes for wedge connectors
