Description

Designed, printed & documented by fritzmade — full specs, honest design decisions, real-world photos.

No more loose box behind the cabinet. The MagentaTV One (Gen 1) now sits cleanly on a Multiboard — snapped in, screwed down, done. The box usually ends up somewhere loose behind the TV or wedged between cables. The Multiboard under my cabinet brought order — the mount snaps directly into the device and is fixed to the board with four M3 screws. No glue, no cable ties.

Design Decisions

The plate is intentionally oversized compared to the device so it snaps in reliably and doesn't tilt when sliding in. The form fit holds tight — no wobbling, no readjusting.

Printed in PETG instead of PLA: the material creeps significantly less under sustained load and holds its shape better with the heat the box dissipates over time.

The four mounting holes are set at 25 mm spacing — compatible with the Multiboard grid. For mounting, I chose against heat-set inserts and went with Drop-In Nut Snaps (M3) instead: insert nut, press snap, done. No melting, no tools.
