About the real aircraft 🛩️

The Bombardier Dash‑8 Q400 (or DeHavilland Canada) is the final and most advanced variant of the Dash‑8 family, introduced in the late 1990s as a faster, quieter, and more efficient regional turboprop. With seating for around 74 passengers, a top speed close to 660 km/h, and excellent short‑runway performance, the Q400 became a favourite for regional airlines around the world. Its distinctive long fuselage, tall T‑tail, and powerful six‑blade propellers make it one of the most recognisable turboprops ever built.
