Description

UPDATE: V1.5 As per some comments, I made a small modification to the outer frame to slightly squeeze the end and help prevent any rattling.

Please let me know if it works! If you find it too tight, you can always use V1.4 — the 3D file is still included in the project files.

This model is an alternate version of the Sliding Bike Case with Phone Mount, designed for the B-Rail System. It retains the same convenient sliding design, locking tab, and secure fit on the rail, but removes the phone holder for a cleaner, more compact setup—ideal if you already use a separate phone mount (like this one).

Please note that I printed the model in the photos with fuzzy skin finish on some surfaces. While it gives a nice look, I would not recommended fuzzy skin on the sliding surfaces and on the areas where the locking tab engages. (The print profile does not have fuzzy skin).

For the full list of compatible accessories, check out the Official B-Rail Mounting Rail.

We’re always improving the B-Rail ecosystem—if you have ideas or suggestions for new accessories, feel free to share them in the comments.

Enjoy your new sliding container!

Works great. A little rattle when riding, but tolerable.

is the rattle between the box and the frame, or between the frame and the rail? thanks

Between the sliding component, and the sliding components frame. The mount and attachment fit is solid, and the mount to the bike is solid.

this is fantastic, thank you. is there anyway to get a latch/tab that has a little bump that stops it from being completely flush with the container? I'm unable to open it without a flathead or pry tool.

How can I print this model if I have a single-filament printer? How can I split the parts of this .step project?
