Description
2-piece RC Sailboat hull display/repair stand specifically for the Kyosho SeaWind model. The stand can be used when the keel is removed to make working on the hull or electronics easier when placed on a desk or work bench.
The front and rear support are designed to follow the contour of the underside of the hull. Both supports are connected via an open center section that also acts as tray for small parts. Both pieces are glued together (I've used CA glue and it works fine) and I've added a lip to make aligning both pieces easier.
As final touch, I've added 1/8th inch thick adhesive foam tape to the hull supports to avoid scratching of the paint.
