Description
These are the essential tools for doing setup work on a double bass.
- String Spacing Guides - Allow you to locate string notches on a new or repaired bridge with a variety of spacing options from 7/8" to 1 ¼".
- Soundpost Setting Tools - Allow you to place the soundpost and pull it into position through the F-holes.
- String Height Gauge - Measures the height above the fingerboard in millimeters.
I have used these tools to successfully repair a bridge with new string spacing, to set the bridge with the desired string height, and to reset the soundpost.
