If you like the design and/ or benefit from the model, I'd be grateful for a boost

A travel case for a 500ml Dr Nelson's Improved Inhaler.

If you are unfamiliar with these inhalers, they are used to soothe vocal cords, headaches, nasal or sinus congestion and treating chest infections, flu, coughs and colds. They are very effective, but are reasonably expensive and fragile (china body and a glass mouth piece), hence I decided to create a travel/ storage case to protect the one we have in our family.

Amazon link to the inhaler: DR NELSON’s Steam Inhaler 500ML,AvonGreen Wellness Soother for Vocal Cords, Headaches Relief and a Nasal, Sinus Decongestant – Excellent for Treating Chest Infections and Pains, Flu, Colds and Coughs : Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

The case features a securely latching slide in lid. The latch may be a little hard to latch when first printed, but this shall ease with use.

The case is printed in five parts - PETG parts for strength and impact protection and TPU parts for shock absorption:

  • A PETG outer case body.
  • A PETG lid - slides into the case body and latches in place.
  • A TPU inner lid lining (carbon fibre effects plate used on this part in the photos) - this features a retaining ring and location plug on its underside
  • A TPU inner lining - this glides into the PETG outer body. Drain holes in the bottom to allow it to be easily rinsed with water.
  • 4 x TPU feet - to be superglued into the recesses on the bottom of the PETG outer body.

Print settings I used are saved in the profiles attached. I can recommend using a Supertack (or equivalent) plate for the PETG parts and a smooth plate (with glue) for the TPU pieces.
