Description
Black Hole Sun – Incense Holder & Ash Catcher | Minimal Zen Design | Functional Desk Object
Not just an incense holder.
This is a controlled burn system designed to capture ash, stabilize the stick, and create a visual “gravity effect” while it burns.
Designed to be used. Built to work.

Why it exists
Most incense holders are:
- unstable
- messy
- purely decorative
- poorly engineered for ash control
Black Hole Sun was designed with a different mindset:
👉 control the burn
👉 contain the ash
👉 create a visual experience
Functional Concept
The geometry is inspired by a gravitational sink effect:
- central angled hole → stabilizes the stick
- concave surface → captures ash naturally
- radial design → guides fall trajectory
- low center of gravity → prevents tipping
This is not random design.
It is controlled function.

Key Features
- Clean minimal aesthetic (fits modern interiors)
- Optimized ash collection surface
- Stable stick positioning angle
- Compact footprint (desk / shelf friendly)
- Fast print, no supports (if progettato così)
- Easy cleaning geometry
- Works with standard incense sticks
Real Use
Designed for:
- daily relaxation routines
- desk environments
- meditation corners
- minimal home setups
It adds:
👉 atmosphere
👉 function
👉 visual focus
