Bill of Materials
Description
A detailed miniature of a classic New Orleans Creole townhouse - two full stories with a wrap-around gallery featuring ornate cast-iron style railings, arched ground floor openings, slim columns, a mansard roof with dormer windows, and twin chimneys.
This building type defined the French Quarter streetscape throughout the 19th century, combining ground-floor commercial space with an elevated residential gallery above. Printed in a Bambulab Red Granite - should look even better in Terracota Matte PLA - tone that naturally evokes the brick and stucco facades of the real French Quarter.
Features:
- Two-story facade with full wrap-around gallery and ornate railing details
- Arched ground floor openings with slim columns
- Mansard roof with dormer windows and twin chimneys
- Flat base included
- Ideal for historical dioramas, city layouts, and miniature photography
Scale: Designed for S scale (1:64).
⚠️ Printing at smaller scales (HO)? The upper gallery railings are intentionally fine and delicate - which looks great, but means a 0.2mm nozzle is strongly recommended for anything smaller than S scale to ensure the balusters print correctly.
A note on supports: The model is available as 1 piece or split into 3 parts in the print profile to make support removal more manageable. That said, the gallery railing is the most fragile part of the build - take your time removing supports around it and work carefully from the inside out. Even with care, minor railing damage is possible, as you can see in the preview photos. I've kept those shots in so you know exactly what to expect.
