Assembly Instructions:

First off be careful when removing the support on the cylinder spring loaded pivot and the crankshaft.

 

Next, install the cylinder to the frame front by gently pressing the pivot pin into the pivot hole.  The 4 segments will compress and when pushed all the way through the frame, snap into position.  Now take the cylinder in one hand and the frame in another and rotate the two against each other for 30-60 seconds.  You will feel the cylinder pivot loosen up.  Once it is nice and loose, remove the cylinder by carefully squeezing all 4 tabs and pulling the cylinder off the frame.  You are now ready to assemble.

 

Step 1:  Insert the piston into the cylinder.

Step 2:  Insert the crankshaft pin into the piston (note:  My pictures I posted show all these steps)

Step 3:  Pass the crankshaft into the frame until the cylinder is up against the frame.

Step 4:  Press the segmented cylinder pivot into the frame as you did for the breaking in procedure, until it clicks into the locked position.

Step 5:  Line up the hex hole on the flywheel with the hex shaft end on the crankshaft.  Press the flywheel onto the crankshaft.  It may help to put a thumb on the piston end of the crankshaft.  It is important that you press straight down the shaft.   Do not hold onto the piston or you will break the crank section off.  You can also place the cylinder end of the crankshaft on the edge of a countertop and press the flywheel straight down until flush or nearly flush.
