Modular Pan & Lid Organizer
Print Profile(1)

Description
Overview
End the "unstacking nightmare" and reclaim your kitchen space! This fully customizable Modular Pan & Lid Organizer is the ultimate solution for messy drawers and cluttered cabinets.
Most organizers force you to stack pans inside each other, leading to scratched surfaces and a frustrating workout every time you need the pan at the bottom. This modular system allows you to store everything vertically for maximum efficiency and protection.
Key Features:
- Quick & Easy Access: Grab exactly the pan you need instantly. No more moving heavy stacks around.
- Surface Protection: Pots and pans stay separated, preventing scratches on expensive non-stick, ceramic, or seasoned surfaces.
- Fully Modular & Variable: Build it as long or as wide as your drawer allows. Mix and match different widths to fit your specific cookware.
- Smart Space Utilization: Designed to squeeze the maximum number of items into your cabinet while keeping them organized.
- Puzzle Joint System: Strong, slide-in jigsaw connections that ensure the rack stays solid.
✨ If you print it, feel free to share your make – I'd love to see your organized kitchen!
Print Settings
Recommended Filament: PETG I highly recommend using PETG (as seen in the photos). It is tougher than PLA, offers better impact resistance, and can handle the weight of heavy professional cookware. It also won't mind if you store a pan that is still slightly warm.
Suggested Settings:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm or 0.24 mm.
- Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid recommended).
- Wall loops: 3–4 (Crucial for the strength of the vertical supports).
- Supports: No (100% support-free design).
Assembly & Selection Guide
1. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Tolerance & XY Test First!
Before printing your entire set, print two small segments first to test the jigsaw joint fit.
- The Goal: The fit should be snug (slightly tight). This ensures the organizer feels like one solid unit and doesn't slide apart under heavy loads.
- Fine-tuning: If it’s too tight or too loose, adjust your "Flow Rate" or "Horizontal Expansion" (XY size) in your slicer.
- Pro Tip: If you want absolute stability for very heavy cast-iron pans, you can apply a drop of superglue to the puzzle joints and the spacers between the left and right sides.
2. Choosing Your Sizes
To keep the design clean, size labels are not embossed on the plastic. You can find the dimensions:
- In the 3MF/STL object names (e.g., Body_60 = 60mm internal gap).
- By measuring the gap directly in your slicer.
Note on 3MF files: Each plate in the 3MF file is already set up for you – one plate contains both the left and right side for that specific size.
3. Setup
- Measure: Check the thickness of your pans and lids.
- Plan: Select the corresponding plates/sizes.
- Print & Snap: Slide the puzzle joints together (use glue if desired) and reclaim your kitchen!
Available Sizes
I have provided a wide range of widths to cover everything:
- 25 mm – 45 mm: Ideal for lids, cutting boards, or thin crêpe pans.
- 50 mm – 70 mm: Best for standard frying pans and sauté pans.
- 80 mm – 100 mm: Designed for deep pans, woks, or pots.
- Start & End Pieces: Don't forget to print these to finish your rack neatly!
- If you want holder for different size of pans, feel free to comment, I can modify and upload your needed size. (Added 155mm version)
Disclaimer
This is a functional 3D printed part. While PETG is very capable, always ensure your print quality and wall count are sufficient to safely hold heavy cast-iron or large stone cookware.
